You have the power to eradicate

You have the power to permanently remove opponent’s ships from the game. This occurs anytime you are one of the main aliens in an encounter and you are the cause of death of another alien’s ships. It is also caused by plaguing someone else.

After ships are sent to the warp Void will start his animation and can then be zapped.

If possible only invite one ally a turn. You shouldn’t need to worry about too many defensive allies because too many people are scared of losing their ships permanently.

If you have the plague, use it early that way you can use your power with it and don’t have to worry about somebody stealing it.

Try to ally with the defensive side more times than the offensive. The reasoning behind this is that your offensive attacks should be easier to win since no one will want to ally against you. So the more pods you get from allying should just make it easier.

If you know you are going to lose try to take down as many others as possible.

On that note, never ally against Void unless you are 99% sure you are going to win.

Plague early to make sure Void does not find a way to steal it.

Consider playing you highest pods on defense so that you don’t lose ships from the game.

Only consider zapping if you are losing four ships from the game or if you have previously lost ships to the Void otherwise your zap could probably be better used else where.
